New Pool Construction
Custom Pools, Built for East Texas
From the first sketch to the day you take your first swim, we design and build in-ground gunite pools made to handle East Texas weather, soil, and the way you actually live in your backyard.

Why East Texas Families Build with Us
We're not a Houston builder driving two hours to your job site. We're based in East Texas — and we bring years of high-volume Houston market experience with us. That combination — local presence and big-market construction standards — is what we're building this company on.
More importantly, we don't disappear after your pool is full. Our chemical delivery, water testing, and equipment service team keeps your pool running for the long haul. The people who built it are the same people who keep it healthy.
Locally owned & operated
We live in the communities we serve. We understand the soil, the trees, the freeze risk, and the kind of pool that fits how East Texans actually use their backyards.
Full-service from day one
Design, permits, construction, equipment, chemicals, and ongoing service — all under one roof. You don't manage four contractors to get your pool built and maintained.
Maintenance integrated from the start
When we build your pool, we know exactly what equipment is in it, what chemicals it needs, and how to keep it running. That makes service faster and cheaper down the road.
At-home water testing
We bring professional-grade testing to your door. No more guesswork, no more trips to the pool store. You get accurate results and the right products delivered.
Why We Build Every Pool in Gunite
Gunite — pneumatically applied concrete reinforced with rebar — is the gold standard for in-ground pools, and it's the only thing we build. Here's how it stacks up against the alternatives.
Gunite (what we build)
- ✓ Custom shape — any size, any depth, any feature
- ✓ 30+ year structural life with proper care
- ✓ Re-plasterable as the surface ages
- ✓ Holds up in expansive clay soils
- ✓ Supports tanning ledges, beach entries, vanishing edges
Fiberglass
- ✗ Limited to factory shapes and sizes
- ✗ Maximum size capped by what can be trucked in
- ✗ Gel coat fades and oxidizes over time
- ✗ Susceptible to bulging and cracking in clay soils
- ✗ Repairs require specialty contractors
Vinyl Liner
- ✗ Liner replacement every 7–12 years
- ✗ Punctures from debris, dogs, or sharp toys
- ✗ Limited shape and feature options
- ✗ Wall flex in soft soil
- ✗ Lower long-term value vs. gunite
Every Pool We Build Is One of a Kind
We design around your lot, your family, and how you actually want to use your backyard. Here are the styles we most often build.
Freeform & Lagoon
Curved, organic shapes that look natural in a Piney Woods or lakeside setting. Great with rock features, beach entries, and tropical landscaping.
Modern Geometric
Clean lines, rectangles, and sharp angles. The most popular choice for new construction homes and modern backyard designs.
Family Pool
Built around how you actually use it — shallow play areas, tanning ledges for the toddlers, room for a slide or volleyball net, and a deeper end for the grown-ups.
Pool & Spa Combo
Attached spa with raised wall, spillway, and shared equipment. Year-round use even when the pool is too cool to swim.
Lap & Exercise
Long, narrow shape sized for swimming laps. Can be designed as a standalone or built into a larger pool with a separate lap lane.
Plunge & Cocktail
Smaller footprint, deeper depth, designed for cooling off and entertaining. A good fit for tighter lots or homeowners who don't need a full-sized pool.
Water Features That Make a Pool Feel Like a Resort
The right water feature turns a pool from a place to swim into a place you actually want to spend time. We integrate features into the build, not bolt them on after.
Sheer Descents
Smooth waterfall sheets cascading from a raised wall — modern, dramatic, and great for both daytime visuals and lit nighttime ambiance.
Rock Waterfalls & Grottos
Hand-built stone features that look like a natural East Texas creek bend. Cave-style grottos add a hidden seating area inside.
Deck Jets & Laminars
Arching streams of water from the deck into the pool. Quiet, kid-friendly, and dramatic with LED lighting at night.
Bubblers & Fountains
Tanning-ledge bubblers and bowl fountains add motion and sound without taking up swimming space.
Vanishing Edges
Negative-edge designs that work beautifully on lots with a slope or a long view. The water appears to drop off into the horizon.
Custom Slides
Integrated slides built into rock formations or as a sculptural feature. Designed and engineered as part of the pool, not bolted on after.
What Building in East Texas Actually Looks Like
Pool building isn't generic. The conditions in this region have a real impact on how a pool gets built, where it goes, and how it holds up over time.
Soil & Site Conditions
East Texas soil varies from sandy loam in the Piney Woods to expansive clay in the post oak belt. We evaluate your site before excavation and design the structural shell to suit it — there's no one-size-fits-all in this region.
Drainage & Water Table
Lots near creeks, ponds, or low-lying areas need extra attention to drainage and dewatering during construction. We plan for it instead of fighting it mid-build.
Trees & Debris
Pines, oaks, and pecans drop a lot of debris. We talk through pool placement, skimmer count, and equipment selection to make maintenance easier given what's around your pool.
Freeze Cycles
East Texas winters bring occasional hard freezes. We install equipment and plumb your pool with freeze protection and walk you through what to do when a winter storm is coming.
Our 10-Step Construction Process
We don't disappear between excavation and plaster. You'll know what's happening, what's coming next, and what we need from you at every step.
- 1
Consultation & Site Visit
We meet you at your property, walk the yard, and talk through how you want to use the pool, what your budget is, and what's possible on your lot.
- 2
Custom Design & 3D Rendering
We design your pool, deck, and outdoor living plan and show you a 3D rendering before any work starts. You see exactly what you're building.
- 3
Permits & HOA Approval
We handle county and HOA permits, surveys, and any neighborhood approvals. You don't have to chase paperwork.
- 4
Excavation
Heavy equipment digs the pool to spec. We protect the rest of your yard, mark utilities, and clean up haul roads as we go.
- 5
Steel & Plumbing
Rebar cage tied to engineered spacing, then plumbing for skimmers, returns, drains, and any features. Inspected before we move on.
- 6
Gunite Application
Gunite (pneumatically applied concrete) is shot into the form to create the pool shell. We instruct you on the daily watering needed during the 5-day cure.
- 7
Tile, Coping & Decking
Waterline tile, coping stones around the edge, and your deck — travertine, pavers, stamped concrete, or stained concrete depending on what you chose.
- 8
Equipment Install
Pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems, and automation panels installed and wired. Final electrical and plumbing inspections happen here.
- 9
Plaster & Fill
Interior finish goes on — white marcite, quartz, or pebble depending on what you chose. Then we acid-wash, fill, and start your chemistry.
- 10
Pool School & Handoff
We walk you through how everything works — equipment, automation, water chemistry — and schedule your first follow-up. Then it's yours to enjoy.

What a Custom Pool Costs
Every project is different, so we quote each one individually. Pool cost in this region is driven by a handful of decisions you'll make with us during design.
- Pool size, shape, and depth
- Interior finish (white marcite vs. quartz vs. pebble)
- Decking material and square footage
- Water features (waterfalls, sheer descents, slides, etc.)
- Spa or tanning ledge addition
- Equipment package (variable-speed pumps, automation, salt systems, heaters)
- Site conditions (slope, access, existing landscape, soil)
- Outdoor living additions (kitchens, pergolas, fire features)

Timeline Expectations
Design & Permitting
4–6 weeks. Includes site visit, design revisions, 3D rendering approval, and county/HOA permits.
Construction
10–14 weeks. From excavation through plaster and fill. Weather and inspections affect the final timeline.
Total Time
14–20 weeks from contract signing to your first swim, on average.
Best Time to Start
Sign in fall or winter to swim by summer. Spring sign-ups typically miss the early season — plan ahead if you want a pool by Memorial Day.
